Tampa port authority

Tampa port is not only the most known port in the USA; it is also among the largest ports in the US. It is found in the Mexico gulf in the Florida state.

The Tampa Port Authority has different responsibilities because the port has many people who come on the port for different reason. People who use the port for their business, or the people who come just for pleasure at the port. So the port authority must make that the security and health regulations are kept up to standard at the port area. The security is needed because some celebrities come to the port for vacation, and it is call port for some business vessel which and they have to protect the clients' properties.  

The Tampa port is not only used as a port but it is also used as a vacation destination for people who want to cruise. That's why the port has people all through out the year. And there a chain of restaurant, of hotels, night club and shopping mall which need a local authority to keep an order. The Tampa port authority must make sure that the service in the port is customer friendly and that there is information desks where people can get help. Transportation also is of high value in this area.

To help people who come to the port with the purpose of cruising alone the port has its own vessels and individuals can choose among them which they want to use. As the day they want to stay cruising because the port offers variety of days from 4 up to 14 days. The port also serves as a call port for different other vessels.

The port is near the Tampa International Airport just a 20 minutes journey. If the visitor went there with his own vehicle he will need to pay up to 14 dollars per day for the parking. People choose where they want to stay and some hotels offer some free services for the people who come early or who will stay longer than they have planned.

Because the port authority also collects money form the people who came to cruise on the port or for the people who use the port for their business the Tampa Port Authority have to make sure that the money is not misused or that the people are not exploited. It also make sure that the money reaches the government.
